    Wave of Light ceremony held on Arkansas Capitol steps to remember infant lives lost

    LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Tuesday night was filled with people on the state capitol steps where a Wave of Light Ceremony was held to remember beautiful lives cut short.

    Organizers say it’s the 11th year for the event where names of babies are read aloud and a spotlight shined into the night sky for an hour, passing the wave of light to each time zone around the world.

    The event is a reminder to families that they are not alone in their grief.

    Wave of Light is a global event, with people from around the world lighting a candle at the same time to honor children who have been lost.
