Man found dead at Marianna apartment complex

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The Arkansas State Police are investigating a man’s death after his body was discovered in an apartment complex in Marianna on Tuesday.

According to the ASP, around 9:30 p.m., the Marianna Police Department responded to reports of shots fired at the South Pointe Apartments on California Street.

When they arrived, officers found 25-year-old Danny Jordan of Little Rock lying in an open doorway with gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

Reports say Jordan’s body was taken to the Arkansas State Crime Laboratory to determine his manner and cause of death. This is an ongoing investigation.
