Police searching for missing 88-year-old Grant County man

GRANT COUNTY, Ark. – Arkansas State Police have activated a Silver Alert for an 88-year-old reported missing out of Grant County.

Police said James Charles Jones was reported missing from Grapevine at 5:14 p.m. on Wednesday and was last known to be at 1081 Grant 190009 southeast of Sheridan.

Jones is described as standing 5’ 5” and weighing 150 pounds. Police noted he has a scar on his right leg and uses a walker.

He was last seen wearing black pants, a green checkered shirt, glasses and a rubber bracelet with a scripture on it. He also had a black folding wallet.

Anyone with information on Jones’ whereabouts is asked to contact the Grant County Sheriff’s Office at 870-942-2101.
