Arkansas Storm Team Forecast: Heat, humidity & a few storms Sunday

OVERNIGHT: We’re in for a warm evening with temperatures in the low 90s till sunset, then the 80s for the rest of the night. Overnight temperatures drop to the mid 70s with clear and calm conditions.

SUNDAY: It will be hot Sunday with high temperatures in the upper 90s and it feeling closer to 110°F in central and south Arkansas. A few showers could develop as early as 3pm for north Arkansas, with a shot for an isolated storm around 5pm in central Arkansas. Rain moves into south Arkansas closer to supper Sunday. A few storms could have some isolated hail Sunday. Additional storms move through late Sunday night into early Monday morning across central and south Arkansas. Wind and heavy rain will be the greatest impacts with storms overnight.

WHAT’S NEXT: Cooler and drier air moves in behind the cold front to start next week. High temperatures will be in the 80s through mid-week with mornings dropping to the 60s by Tuesday.
