Woman injured in Grand Forks motorcycle crash
GRAND FORKS, N.D. (KFGO) – A woman was seriously injured in a motorcycle crash on Demers Avenue Tuesday. Grand Forks Police say Mary Solberg was turning off Demers to go south on 20th Street just after 2:45 p.m. Solberg turned in front of an SUV that had a green light. She was seriously injured and was taken to Altru hospital.

MINNEAPOLIS — A storm system moving slowly across Minnesota on Tuesday will mostly miss the Twin Cities.The cluster cralwed across western and central Minnesota before skirting the metro. As of midmorning, southern Minnesota was still dealing with heavy rain.Rain is still possible in the Twin Cities in the afternoon and evening, but after that, we've got a stretch of dry time lasting the rest of the week.Highs will approach 80 on Tuesday in the Twin Cities and remain similar on Wednesday, then things will start to warm up. By the weekend, highs will be near 90 degrees. Rain and storms may return by Sunday and continue into early next week.

Motorcycle rider hurt after being hit by SUV in Grand Forks
GRAND FORKS, N.D. (Valley News Live) - One person was sent to the hospital after a motorcycle was hit by an SUV in Grand Forks, Tuesday. Grand Forks Police say it happened in the 2000 blocks of Demers Ave around 2:50pm. They say a woman named Mary Solberg was turning her motorcycle south onto South 20th Street when a Jeep driven by Skylar Reiff, 29, of Grand Forks drove through a green light and hit her.
Grand Forks chase suspect pleads guilty to several felonies after March vehicle pursuit
GRAND FORKS, ND — A man accused of leading law enforcement on a pursuit through Grand Forks County in March has pleaded guilty to eight charges, including six felonies. Police say the chase began after Benjamin Pawlowski shoplifted from Target, and then fled on foot after he crashed his vehicle. When officers caught up to Pawlowski and arrested him, they found him with meth and drug paraphernalia.
