UPDATE: Work on La. 321 bridge postponed

UPDATE: Work that was to begin this week on the La. 321 bridge replacement has been postponed.

Officials say the work, which was to begin Wednesday on Location 2 of the $4 million La. 321 bridge replacement project in St. Martin Parish, will not start this week.

The section of La. 321, located 1.1 miles south of La. 351, will be closed to the public, according to DOTD. The closure was expected to last until October 2024.

The project is estimated to be completed in November 2024, but we don't know now how long it will take.
