VAN ZANDT COUNTY, Texas — Bridge construction on I-20 and FM 859 is scheduled to begin Aug. 18, which will cause detours on the main lanes. According to TXDOT, the main lanes of I-20 and FM 859 will be closed from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. while crews continue bridge construction. During this time, traffic will be redirected to the frontage roads, and then back onto I-20.
