Rock Springs URA ‘Clean Team’ off to a sparking start
The Downtown Rock Springs “Clean Team” is off to a successful start! After the first month of operation, the Rock Springs Main Street/Urban Renewal Agency (URA) is reporting that Ellie Manning, the one-woman Clean Team (pictured above), has achieved the following milestones: Collected 255 pounds of trash, assisted 26 visitors with hospitality and information, and made 17 business contacts helping to strengthen ties between local businesses and the URA. Manning did all this while walking an impressive 29.75 miles.

The Rock Springs Walk to End Alzheimer’s is coming up this Saturday, August 24, in Bunning Park. At last check, 17 teams and 57 individuals had registered for the annual event.
