Buena Vista baseball falls to Coe in American Rivers Conference tournament championship

CEDAR RAPIDS, IOWA (KCAU) – No. 2 seed Buena Vista had hopes of securing its first American Rivers Conference Tournament title since 2019, but five unanswered runs from No. 1 seed Coe was the deciding dagger as the Beavers fell 6-2 to the Cohawks in the ARC tournament championship on Saturday afternoon.

Beavers is now 29-14 overall and will await a potential berth to the NCAA Regional for the second straight year. The Division III NCAA Tournament selection show begins on Monday morning at 11:00 a.m.
