Two-A-Days: Stanton Mustangs

SIOUX CITY, Ia (KCAU) – The Stanton Mustangs went 13-0 in route to the last season’s Nebraska Class D1 State Championship.

The Mustangs return some serious firepower. Quarterback Barrett Wilke returns. He led all of Class D-1 with over 3,400 yards and amazing 57 touchdowns.

They also return running back Becker Pohlman who had just under 2,000 total yards and 38 touchdowns.

As you can probably guess, the Mustangs scored a lot of points last season. The team scored 50 points or more in ten of their thirteen wins.

Stanton opens up their season on August 30th at home against Bloomfield.
