Sioux City Geek Convention brings comic-con fun to Siouxland

SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KCAU) – The Sioux City Geek Convention is taking place from August 23 to August 25 at the Sioux City Convention Center.

Those in attendance can enjoy role-playing games, vendors, celebrity guests, and more for a weekend full of family-friendly fun.

“We love comic cons and superheroes, and everything in between there, so being able to bring that to the culture of Sioux City, and make that available to the Siouxland area is so important to us. That’s really our big mission goal,” said Sioux City tabletop gamers vice president Skyler Gorsett.

The Geek Convention is free for kids and will wrap up on Sunday, August 25 at 6 pm.
