Yankton County Sheriff’s Office looking for wanted man

YANKTON, S.D. (KCAU) — Authorities in southeast South Dakota are looking for a man they say is wanted on multiple charges.

The Yankton County Sheriff’s Office stated on a Facebook post that it and the South Dakota Department of Corrections are looking for Alexander Kpayah Vorjolo, 26. While it was posted Thursday, the sheriff’s office told KCAU 9 Friday afternoon that it is still looking for him.

Vorjolo is described as weighing about 210 pounds and as 5-feet, 9-inches tall.

He is wanted for escape, speeding, aggravated eluding, habitual offender, three counts of first-degree burglary, and three counts of second-degree petty theft.

Officials ask anyone that sees him to not approach him and call 911 or the local law enforcement.
