    Musketeers acquire defenseman Shayne Gould from Chicago in exchange for draft pick

    SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KCAU) – For the second consecutive day, the Sioux City Musketeers have made moves on the trade block. After completing a pair of trades on Monday, the Muskies continue shuffling its roster after agreeing to a deal with Chicago.

    Sioux City acquired defenseman Shayne Gould from the Chicago Steel in exchange for a 2025 Phase I third-round draft pick. Gould was drafted by the Steel with the 45th overall selection in the Phase I draft last year.

    The 17-year-old played last season with the Bishop Kearney Selects 16U team, totaling eight goals and 52 assists. Gould is committed to play college hockey at UConn.
