Soho Kitchen and Bar set to reopen before holiday season

SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KCAU) — Soho Kitchen and Bar is set to reopen before the holiday season, the restaurant’s founder announced in a release.

According to Soho founder Julie Schoenherr, the restaurant is expected to be reopened under new ownership later this year.

The release states that Schoenherr has partnered with Marty’s Tap and Brioux City owners Kelly and Nickie Quinn to bring the restaurant back.

“I put my heart and soul into building Soho, and I’m excited for the opportunity to get back to our roots with a robust menu and great, reliable service,” said Schoenherr. “With our location in the heart of Fourth Street, this is an important business not just for downtown, but for our entire city.”

The restaurant is set to “the largest selection of local and Iowa craft beers in the area.” Along with longer kitchen and bar hours than before, and “the all-American, home-cooked, and creative menu that have made Soho a local favorite.”

“We have always loved Soho for its great food and beer options, and we are looking forward to building on its strong foundation for years to come,” Kelly Quinn said.
