Celebrate Pork in the Tenderloin Trail promotion this October

PLYMOUTH COUNTY, Iowa (KCAU) — If you are a pork lover, join the Plymouth County Pork Producers in their Tenderloin Trail pork promotion!

During this promotion, nine area restaurants will be participating in the Plymouth County Tenderloin Trail serving their pork menu items, according to a press release.

Restaurant customers will be able to pick up a passport at any participating restaurant and when ordering a pork menu item get their passport stamped. Customers must collect at least 5 stamps to be entered into the drawing

At the end completed passport can be emailed to plycoporkproducers@gmail.com or left at the restaurant to be entered into a drawing.

The prizes in the raffle include a pork bundle for Premium Iowa Pork, a pork bundle from Remen Processing, a pellet grill from Argi-Vision Le Mars, a gas grill from KF Propane in Remsen, and a $100 gift certificate to the winner’s choice of participating restaurant.

The promotion starts on Oct.1 and ends on Dec. 31.

Plymouth County Pork Producers as a non-profit organization serves to promote pork in local communities and schools. They are organized by 20 directors, made up of farmers and industry professionals. The funds raised each year at Grandstand Pork during the Plymouth County Fair support their efforts, such as grilling for community events, food pantry donations, school and 4-H/FFA outreach, pork promotions, and scholarships.
