    Sioux City holding workshop to educate tenants on fair housing rights

    SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KCAU) — The Sioux City Human Rights Commission is looking to educate local tenants on their rights and responsibilities.

    The city has announced that a Fair Housing training workshop will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 15 at the Sioux City Public Museum. The Sioux City Human Rights Commission will host the free event from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

    Serving Siouxland: How Bikes for Kids breaks down barriers

    According to a release, the workshop will look to inform community members on housing discrimination and their rights within fair housing regulations. Attendees will learn how to prevent eviction, recognize when illegal discrimination is taking place, and more.
