    North Sioux City Disaster Recovery Center to close Oct. 4

    SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KCAU) — FEMA has announced that the Disaster Recovery Center in North Sioux City will be permanently closing next week.

    FEMA says the center located at 305 South Derby Lane will close on Oct. 4 at 6 p.m.

    Flood recovery continues in Sioux City’s Riverside neighborhood

    People can still go and get help from the agency in-person on Saturday, Sept. 28 from noon to 4 p.m. It will be closed on Sunday but will be open from Sept. 30 to Oct. 3 from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. The last day is from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

    The Disaster Recovery Center in Canton will also close on Oct. 4.
