SD, MN Red Cross teams respond to Hurricane Helene

Sioux Falls, S.D. (KELO) Red Cross teams across the region are on their way to the Southeast to help those affected by Hurricane Helene.

In a Facebook post from Red Cross South Dakota, officials say crews will be there to deliver food and supplies. The American Red Cross of Minnesota and the Dakotas activated six emergency vehicles from Sioux Falls, Minneapolis, Mankato, Duluth, Rapid City, and Fargo.

More than 60 trained disaster volunteers have been deployed. If you would like to help, the Red Cross suggests making a donation, or by making an appointment to donate blood or platelets.
