WATCH: Candidate forums – State of Iowa

SIOUX CITY, Iowa ( KCAU ) — The League of Women Voters Sioux City and Siouxland GO are holding forums with local candidates to help inform the public ahead of the general election.

The organizations planned two forums, one that was held on Monday night for Woodbury County candidates, and another on Tuesday night for Iowa State representative candidates. Both forums start at 7 p.m. The forums are being hosted at WITCC Rocklin Center, and the public is invited to attend.

Monday’s event focused on the Woodbury County Supervisor District 1, District 3, and District 5 along with the Woodbury County Auditor and Recorder. Tuesday will focus on Iowa State Representative State District 1, District 2, and District 14.

Panelists will be from the League of Women Voters, Siouxland GO, local media, and the WITCC Journalism program.
