Big Brothers Big Sisters of Siouxland to host 2024 Holiday Tour of Homes

DAKOTA DUNES, S.D. (KCAU) — Get into the holiday spirit as Big Brothers Big Sister of Siouxland take members of the community on a Holiday Home Tour.

According to a press release, this annual event allows attendees to visit five “beautifully decorated homes” in the communities of Wynstone and McCook Lake.

“The Tour of Homes has become a beloved holiday tradition in our community and provides substantial support for the important work we do at Big Brothers Big Sisters,” said Kristie Arlt, Executive Director. “Every ticket sold helps create and sustain meaningful one-to-one mentoring relationships that make a positive impact on young people throughout Siouxland.”

The tours will take place on Thursday, Nov. 21 through Saturday, Nov. 23, with 12 tours offered daily. Each tour is about three hours long, starting at the Holiday Inn., located at 885 Cottonwood Lane in Dakota Dunes.

Tickets are available for purchase online at the Big Brother Big Sister website or by calling 712-239-9890, ext 117. All proceeds from the event will go toward supporting the vital youth mentoring programs provided by Big Brothers Big Sisters of Siouxland.
