SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KCAU) — The Woodbury County Long-Term Recovery Group is hosting two Multi-Agency Resource Centers to support residents impacted by June’s severe flooding.

The first event was held at the Riverside Lutheran Church on Tuesday from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Resources at the event included FEMA, the American Red Cross, the Community Action Agency of Siouxland, and many more.

“This is our second time in Riverside doing the Multi-Agency Resource Center, and we’re doing it because the application deadline is coming up Oct. 22,” John Holmes with Woodbury County Emergency Management said. “So this maybe the last chance for residents to meet with these agencies in person.”

The next meeting will take place in Correctionville on Oct. 15th from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
