SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KCAU) — A Sioux City man has been arrested for the murder of a motorcyclist.

The Sioux City Police Department said in a release that officers were alerted Sept. 2 and 8:42 p.m. of a motorcycle crash near the intersection of West 20th Street and Rebecca Street.

Officers arrived and found a man Bret B. Siebold, 65, of Sioux City, suffering from a head injury. He was taken to a local hospital and then life flighted to University of Nebraska Medical Center with life threatening injuries.

A witness also told police they saw something thrown at Siebold while he was on a motorcycle before hearing “a specific sound” and then seeing Seibold go to the ground.
