#4 Remsen St. Mary’s hosts #5 Woodbine in SportsZone Game of the Week; MetroSports TV Week 7 slate features pair of metro games

SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KCAU) – As the weeks roll on, our local high school football games are getting and better. That’s certainly the case for our SportsZone Game of the Week as a pair of unbeatens will hit the gridiron on Friday night.

It’s a battle between a pair of top-5 undefeated teams in Eight-Player football as fifth-ranked and 6-0 Woodbine visits #4 Remsen St. Mary’s, who is also 6-0. Two of the last three meetings in the series have been decided by seven or fewer points.

RSM features former SportsZone Player of the Week winner in QB Landon Waldschmitt, who leads the district with 17 rushing touchdowns. For the Tigers of Woodbine, QB Brody Pryor is fourth in the state with 20 Pass TD’s while wide receiver Landon Blum has 13 receiving touchdowns, second most in all of Iowa.

Kickoff between the Hawks and Tigers will take place at Sunrise Park on Friday at 7 p.m.
