New renderings show visions of a future where the Chiefs cross state lines.

The images show a domed stadium near Legends and the Kansas Speedway. The architect, David Manica, also designed the Raiders’ Allegiant Stadium and the upcoming Titans stadium.

ICYMI, Kansas lawmakers spent the last week considering plans to fully fund Chiefs and Royals stadium efforts using STAR bonds — a proposal that

went undiscussed Tuesday, as the legislature wrapped up its 2024 session.

With the Chiefs leased to the Truman Sports Complex until 2031, lawmakers will have a few more chances to present a winning plan, starting in 2025.
