    Person killed while walking across Prospect; Driver fully cooperative with police

    I see pedestrians a lot crossing the street without crossing at the crosswalk darting out in front of cars all the time which yes a driver should be more cautious about it but how cautious can you be if a person literally just jumps out in front of your car it takes a few more minutes to literally break especially if somebody jumps out right in front of your car it takes a few minutes for that car to stop it's not like the brakes lock up automatically when you slam them on them which then intends can also cause a car accident pedestrians need a respect the drivers also by crossing at crosswalks not crossing the street when uncoming cars are coming and a lot of these people around here don't have that common sense to know that I think a lot of them do it deliberately thinking they're going to get paid and not realize the consequences behind it that can take their life from them.....
