DALLAS (KDAF) — Sha’Carri Richardson , Dallas’ own track superstar, has graced the cover of Vogue’s August 2024 digital issue ahead of the Paris Summer Olympics . The world’s fastest woman posed in a Ralph Lauren bodysuit and skirt, paired with gold Nike sneakers, her signature long, decorated nails touching the running track.

In her Vogue interview, the 24-year-old 100-meter champion talks about preparing for the Olympics and her journey to running. She reflects on her early running days and how it shaped her identity, while also showcasing her unique fashion style that caught Nike’s eye.

Richardson recently clocked the 100 meters in 10.71 seconds at the U.S. track trials, securing her spot at the Paris Olympics and making her the fastest woman in the world. She’ll also be racing in the 4x100m relay, aiming to become the first American woman to win Olympic gold in the 100 meters since 1996.
