Costco set to expand to another North Texas city

FORNEY (KDAF) — Forney, Texas is set to join the ranks of the bulk-buying elite with a new Costco store at the intersection of U.S. Highway 80 and Clements Drive.

Forney’s Costco will be joining a lineup within the Dallas-Fort Worth area, where there are about a dozen locations. Additionally, the region is in the midst of a Costco boom, with three more stores on the way. Prosper’s location is set to open this fall, while Celina will welcome its own later this year. Weatherford is eagerly awaiting its Costco debut in early 2025.

Get ready, Forney! Because when Costco comes to town, you’ll be able to stock up on everything from industrial-sized mayonnaise jars to enough hot dogs to feed your squad.
