DALLAS (KDAF) — Taco Bell is bringing back some fan-favorite classics in 2024! The fast-food giant has revived five iconic menu items, one from each decade spanning the 1960s to the 2000s.

First up, the Tostada from the 1960s, a corn tortilla topped with refried beans, lettuce, red sauce, and cheese, is back for just $2.19. The Green Burrito, a 1970s staple with spicy green sauce, refried beans, onions, and cheddar, is making a comeback for $2.49.

The 1980s Meximelt, with its cheesy blend of cheddar, Monterey jack, mozzarella, ground beef, and pico de gallo wrapped in a soft taco, returns at $2.99. The ’90s Beef Gordita Supreme, with flatbread filled with tomatoes, lettuce, beef, cheese, and sour cream, is also back for $2.99.

Finally, the Caramel Apple Empanada from the 2000s, a dessert featuring caramel and apple, rounds out the revival for $2.99.

These beloved items are available for a limited time in select Southern California locations until August 21. But if you can’t make it there, don’t worry —Taco Bell plans to release them nationwide later this year!

I think it's wonderful that Taco Bell does its part to make sure that most Americans and yes those who are not as well, get a chance to not be so constipated anymore....
