DALLAS (KDAF) — Do you think Texas is a fun state? According to a new report from WalletHub, the Lone Star State is one of the most fun in the nation.

This report identifies where residents and vacationers can enjoy the greatest variety and most cost-effective options for activities, including factors like movie costs, restaurants per capita, and the accessibility of national parks.

Texas ranked 7th overall, but ranked first in four different categories: restaurants per capita, movie theaters per capita, amusement parks per capita, and fitness centers per capita.

Hot tourist spots Florida and California placed first and second, respectively, followed by Nevada, New York, Colorado and Illinois for the top six. You can view the full report here .
