Why does Texas watch so much TV?

DALLAS (KDAF) — Texans apparently love to be entertained, according to a new study that determined how much the average American spends on various forms of entertainment.

Researchers from RSS surveyed over 2,200 Americans to find out how much the average American spends on forms of entertainment every year, including in person, digital, and special occasion entertainment.

Texas residents spend more on digital entertainment than almost any other state at $3,731.49 annually Texas also spends a total of $8,924.95 on total entertainment spending every year.
