DALLAS (KDAF) — What are American’s favorite fall activities? In a season of trick-or-treating, scary movies, and pumpkin patches, here are what Texans love to do in the fall, according to a new survey.

Texas’ favorite part of all was “Halloween activities” winning 62% of the vote, from apple orchards to pumpkin picking. Half of Texans also believe that “decorating with fall décor” is the best part of the season, and Halloween barely beat Thanksgiving for fall holiday preferences.

Favorite fall-themed movie? While Hocus Pocus wins the title for the Best Fall Film nationally, Texans ranked the Harry Potter franchise at the top — but is Harry Potter actually a fall film? We’ll let you decide.
