DALLAS (KDAF) — Did you know there could be a science behind picking the perfect lottery ticket? A new study from VegasInsider has looked at every draw in Powerball from 2024 and found the most popular numbers to create the dream ticket based on data.

These numbers are the most frequently drawn numbers in the lottery: 9, 17, 19, 21, 23, 69

The number 9 is the most common to appear, with it being drawn 36 times
42 is the least common drawn number, appearing 12 times

The top 10 numbers drawn for the Powerball lottery:
