Stars on stage at the State Fair of Texas

DALLAS (KDAF) — From headlining musicians, to magic and long-standing performances, there is entertainment for all at the State Fair of Texas.

There are multiple stages throughout the fairgrounds with performances all day. Besides music, viewing a magic show is a fun, family tradition.

Scott’s World of Magic has been an eight year classic. “We have comedy, magic, and grand illusions, right here in the beautiful Oak Farm theater,” explained Dale Scott. The show features futuristic elements, neon lighting, a floating robot and audience participation. Shows run every day of the fair at noon, 1pm and 2:30pm.

Mighty Mike is a strongman act at the fair for the past five years. He travels from Canada to do the show three times a day at the Fringe stage. Audiences can marvel as his muscles bend horseshoes, juggles bowling balls and sledgehammers from techniques dating back to the 1920s.
