It’s all fun and games at the State Fair of Texas

DALLAS (KDAF)– Everything is bigger in Texas, including the fun awaiting at the Midway games in the State Fair of Texas.

Senior VP of Midway Operations, Rusty Fitzgerald, said there are about 70 games at the Midway that cater to all sorts of skill levels. However, kids won’t leave empty handed.

Fitzgerald said look for “All Kids Win” signs that mark the games and easier and guarantee prizes.

“I came here when I was in high school,” Fitzgerald reminisced. “I’ve been working here since 2001.” Times change, and new games come along. Their newest is a $450,000 water race game that displays the winner’s face on a giant big screen. Talk about bragging rights.

The Midway is the destination for all games and rides, and Tuesdays is the discount ticket day .
