This famous snack has its own holiday. Here is where to celebrate in North Texas!

FRISCO (KDAF) — Mark your calendars, BBQ lovers — Hutchins BBQ is back with the second annual National Texas Twinkie Day on Oct. 16! This day celebrates one of their most beloved creations, the Texas Twinkie, a mouthwatering masterpiece made from extra-large jalapeños stuffed with cream cheese and brisket, wrapped in bacon, and glazed to perfection.

Last year’s celebration saw thousands sold, and Hutchins has even bigger plans for 2024. Texas Twinkies will be just $3 each (limit of four per person) from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. at their McKinney and Frisco locations, while supplies last. Plus, from 5 to 8 p.m., don’t miss the epic raffle, with prizes like Dallas Cowboys tickets, a Traeger Grill, and gift cards to SCHEELS Sporting Goods, Tecovas ! Proceeds benefit Frisco Family Services and Samaritan Inn, so you’re eating good for a great cause.
