    A new report by Swoop Funding has discovered the US’s leading celebrity investors, highlighting those who have made the most significant contributions to the investment landscape. According to the report, Mark Cuban, former principal owner of the Dallas Mavericks, was the top investor in 2024, making over 250 investments.

    According to the data, Mark Cuban, American businessman and television personality known as one of the main “sharks’ on the reality TV show Shark Tank , leads as the top US celebrity investor. Cuban has recently sold a majority stake in the Dallas Mavericks and his latest investment was Pre Seed-Round – DIRT Research Technology on September 18, 2024, which raised $2 million. He is also the lead investor of Transcrypts.

    Baron Davis, who retired from the NBA in 2011-2012 ranks second among celebrity investors. His online influence reveals a mixed public perception, with a positive sentiment of 8% and a negative sentiment of 13%. Davis has invested in a total of 54 companies with his company Baron Davis Enterprises.

    Kevin Durant, who currently plays for the Phoenix Suns ranks third in our list of celebrity investors. The Suns star, who has won two NBA championships, has invested in a total of 50 companies with his latest investment was Series A Zelus Analytics on October 17, 2023.
