FORT WORTH (KDAF) — Embraer is making a major move in the U.S. with the expansion of its maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) services at Perot Field Alliance Airport in Fort Worth, Texas. Teaming up with the City of Fort Worth, Denton County, and the State of Texas, the aviation giant plans to open a new service center by the second quarter of 2025, with an additional hangar slated for completion in 2027.

This $70 million investment will boost Embraer’s capacity to service its growing fleet of E-Jets by 53%, creating around 250 new jobs for Texans in the aviation industry. As part of Embraer’s global network of 80 authorized centers and 12 owned service hubs, the new Fort Worth location is set to become a key player in keeping the skies filled with their top-tier jets.

Fort Worth’s aviation scene is about to soar even higher!
