PLANO (KDAF) — After a seven-year break, Lay’s is bringing back its fan-driven flavor innovation with the return of the Do Us A Flavor™ contest. Sounds familiar? This is the same campaign that gave us iconic flavors like Southern Biscuits & Gravy, Cheesy Garlic Bread, and Wasabi Ginger.

Fans can submit their most creative potato chip ideas until February 21, 2025, for a chance to win $1 million and see their flavor on store shelves. The Lay’s team will narrow down the entries to three finalist flavors, which will hit the market in April 2025, giving fans the chance to vote for the ultimate winner.

To celebrate, Lay’s has also opened the Flavor Vault, bringing back five fan-favorite flavors from previous contests: Chicken & Waffles, Cheesy Garlic Bread, Southern Biscuits & Gravy, Wavy Fried Green Tomato, and Crispy Taco. Fans can even win a kit featuring these classic flavors by engaging with Lay’s on social media.
