Part of Route 51 reopening delayed a few days

South Hills commuters and students who take the bus to school and will want to know PennDOT has delayed the reopening of Route 51 between Crane Avenue and Woodruff Street.

It was supposed to reopen Monday but that's been pushed back to Thursday afternoon due to unforeseen conditions and utility relocation work.

PennDOT closed that part of Route 51 to demolish a railway bridge at the bottom of Mount Washington.
