State Police warn of items being stolen from cars in Beaver County

State police in Beaver County are investigating a series of items being stolen from cars.

They've been happening in Raccoon, Independence and Hanover Townships over the past week.

They've identified a suspect in at least one of them, 20-year-old Chandler Cosentino of Raccoon Township.

Investigators say they've been studying surveillance video from several victims’ homes in which a red sedan has been seen.

They say two people are seen on the videos going into driveways and checking car doors to see if they're open.

Then they help themselves to items inside.

State police say not to leave anything in your car at night and make sure the doors are locked.
