    Pittsburgh to host eight different NCAA events over next several years

    It was a slam dunk for the City of Champions.

    SportsPITTSBURGH and the Pittsburgh Bid Committee have announced that the NCAA has awarded Pittsburgh eight preliminary and championship events starting in 2026 and running through 2028.

    The events include men's division one basketball first and second rounds of the NCAA Tournament as well as division two and three soccer, volleyball and wrestling.

    The National Bowling Championships will be at AMF Lanes in Mount Lebanon in 2027.

Lebanon 2027 Division III Men's and Women's Soccer Championships Host: Presidents’ Athletic Conference | Venue: Highmark Stadium 2027 Division III Women's Volleyball Championship Host: Presidents’ Athletic Conference | Venue: UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse

    “We’re always excited for NCAA events to come to our city,” SportsPITTSBURGH Director, Sports Event Development Brady Inners said. “Sure, we have a lot of work ahead of us, but we’re fortunate to have such strong partnerships with the NCAA, host institutions, venues and community – and we love to see the comradery Pittsburghers pride ourselves on amplified by these competitions.”
