A fifth Big Lots location to close for good in Pittsburgh area

Another Pittsburgh-area Big Lots location is joining several others that are closing for good.

The Big Lots on Lincoln Highway in North Versailles is among over 40 other locations that will shutter as the parent company continues to go through Chapter 11 bankruptcy.

Four other Big Lots in the Pittsburgh area are already set to close.

Those include the Monroeville location on William Penn Highway, the store on Green Garden Road in Aliquippa, Big Lots in Moon on Gracy Center Way and Greene Plaza in Waynesburg.

Closing stores are offering deep discounts on items.

Big Lots is closing over 300 locations across the United States after the company reported a loss of over $200 million in May.
