The head coach of one of the most dominating high school football teams in Pennsylvania had decided take a step back this coming season. Aliquippa coach Mike Warfield says he is “taking a leave of absence for this upcoming season.”

County Police investigating death of unconscious man while in custody
Allegheny County Police are investigating the death of a man who was found unresponsive while in custody of West Mifflin Police. Officers say a 31-year-old male was taken into custody around 3 a.m. on July 5 on public drunkenness charges.

Pittsburgh Police are asking for help locating a missing female senior citizen. Bessie Ruth Thompson is 74-years-old and was last seen on the 5700 block of Butler Street between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Friday, July 5.
Three people shot in Canonsburg on 4th of July
Police are searching for a suspect after three people were shot late Thursday night in Canonsburg. Canonsburg Police Chief Alexander Coghill said the shooting happened along Blaine Avenue just before midnight on Thursday.
