    Clay County sheriff’s office investigates deadly shooting in Kearney

    KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Clay County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a deadly shooting at a home in Kearney, Missouri, Tuesday night.

    According to deputies, a 911 caller reported a man had been shot inside a home in the 16200 block of Kountry Ridge Drive, approximately three miles northeast of Kearney.

    Upon arrival, deputies said the man died on the scene and they took someone in for questioning.

    The Clay County Sheriff’s Office confirmed on Wednesday the shooting is being investigated as a homicide.
