National Weather Service Says Severe Weather Potential Tonight
The threat of severe weather returns to the Ark-La-Tex tonight, as much of the country faces another outbreak of strong storms. The National Weather Service in Shreveport has indicated that the entire Ark-La-Tex region will be under threat for severe weather tonight. Including stretches from Lufkin, Texas to the south, up to north of Broken Bow, Oklahoma. The storm threat will extend beyond those areas, but it will encompass most of the Ark-La-Tex.

Wild Fights Break Out at Shreveport Cinco de Mayo Event
Two videos are making the rounds on social media showing fights happening both at Festival Plaza and on the streets of Downtown Shreveport. In the first video, a group of women are shown swinging punches and pulling hair during a concert at a Cinco de Mayo event in Festival Plaza. Security bravely intervene in the brawl and one security guard can be seen throwing one of the women to the ground in an effort to put a stop to the madness.
Shreveport High-School to Celebrate Major Renovations to Stadium
After not being able to use their huge stadium for sporting events in 2023, athletes at Captain Shreve High School will celebrate the full renovation of Lee Hedges Stadium.
