On 02-09-2024, an unknown black male entered 2314 Barksdale Blvd (Dollar General) and committed a theft. Police Looking for Shreveport Man Who Beat up a Pregnant Woman
SHREVEPORT, LA- Shreveport police looking for man wanted for domestic abuse battery of pregnant victim. On February 8th, 2024, Shreveport Police responded to a call regarding a domestic disturbance in the 8300 block of Line Avenue. Upon arrival, officers discovered a victim, approximately two months pregnant, in need of assistance. Detectives from the Domestic Violence Unit promptly initiated an investigation into the matter.

Major Fire Destroys Much of Church in South Louisiana
An early Saturday morning fire destroyed much of a church in Louisiana. According to WBRZ, the major fire destroyed part of St. Luke's Episcopal Church on Goodwood Blvd. An off-duty police officer noticed the fire and that is when the fire department was notified.
