Did You Know Honking Your Horn in Texas Could End in Jail Time?
We all know that Texas drivers are a bit extreme, and by that I mean that a majority of drivers like to go over the speed limit as they attempt to reach their destination. And if you’re not keeping up with the flow of traffic or holding things up at a light because you’re not paying attention it’s not uncommon for a vehicle to honk their horn. But did you know that if you are using your vehicle’s horn and it causes multiple complaints you could end up in jail for causing a disturbance.
A New Study Shows How Much We Love Alcohol in Texas
When I first became of legal age to partake in an adult beverage, I didn't drink beer. As a matter of fact, I hated beer. I would only drink whiskey. It could be straight, it could be poured over a cube of ice, it could be mixed in a sour mix or soda, it didn't matter. As I got older and, I guess, wiser with my drinking, I developed a palate for beer. Now that I'm a more seasoned adult, I can enjoy both a good beer, particularly a craft beer, or a whiskey drink of some kind. A recent study showcases how much we Texans, in general, enjoy alcohol and how much collectively we drink of it.

As I was scrolling online, I stumbled upon an article discussing the worst states to visit according to Americans. One of my favorite things in life is to travel and explore. It is so much fun visiting new places and trying out new restaurants and food items. But I will admit I never expected to see the state of Texas on a list of the worst states to visit while traveling.
Texas in the Top 3 Worst Regarding Drinking and Driving
It’s horrible to say but it’s not exactly shocking to hear that drinking and driving continues to be a problem here in the state of Texas. It’s sickening how often we hear of fatalities that could have been avoided if someone had decided to not get behind the wheel after consuming alcohol. It’s simple, alcohol impairs your judgement, so after you have a drink plan on someone else driving.
