High fire danger across central Washington Sunday, hot temperatures sticking around
Hot temperatures will continue through the weekend and into next week across the Inland Northwest, with fire danger picking up on Sunday due to high winds and low humidity. Heat Advisories remain in effect until ten p.m. Sunday for central and eastern Washington, as well as parts of North Idaho. Daytime highs are still trending in the mid 90s to triple digits across the state, with overnight lows finding a tad more relief in the upper 50s and 60s. Spokane's daytime high Sunday is forecasted to reach about 96 degrees, with some cities across the Columbia Basin and LC Valley jumping back up to the low 100s.
