Authorities Identify Victim in August 3 Drowning at Skiatook Lake
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol’s Marine Enforcement division has released additional information in an August 3rd drowning death at Skiatook Lake. Troopers say 61-year-old Michael Cooke, of Bethany, was walking down to a boat slip to retrieve an item at Cross Timbers Marina in Osage County. They say he fell into the water for an unknown reason just after 6:30pm.

OSU student involved in nonfatal hit-and-run on campus
Around 3 p.m. Friday, OSU student Iris Borunda was walking southbound on a Farm Road sidewalk when she was hit by a car. Borunda, according to a police report from OSUPD, entered the roadway on foot and was not in the crosswalk. CLEVELAND COUNTY, OKLA. (KOKH) — A Norman man who was arrested for kidnapping, burglary, and robbery of a 75-year-old woman died after an attempted suicide Sunday night.
