Flandreau, Arlington girls roll to wins on Monday

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — Several girls basketball teams claimed wins on Monday night and that includes Flandreau and Arlington.

The Fliers are 15-0 on the season and they were named the new top-ranked team in class ‘A’ Monday.

They looked the part as they cruised to a 71-32 win over Garretson.

It was a battle of Cardinals in Dell Rapids.

Dell Rapids St. Mary welcomed Arlington to town. Arlington is 14-2 on the season, having them as the only team receiving votes, but not ranked in class ‘B’.

Arlington didn’t disappoint starting the game on a 14-0 run. They’d quickly build the lead to 20 and that was the difference throughout the game.

They’d roll to a 61-42 win over St. Mary.
